You just have to be speaking its language

Disciplines

These disciplines, and more are integrated into your personalized program to help you move with intention and come home to the body through full bodied dynamic movement, or mindful and slow somatic groundwork.

What does "home" feel like?

Yoga

The ancient practice of yoga taps into your body's own source of knowledge. Moving your body brings you into deep connection with your skeletal, muscular, neural, and autonomic nervous systems, leading to healing through movement.

Laban/Bartenieff Movement Studies

A lot of our pain and discomfort come from the repetitious movements we engage in. As a certified Laban/Bartenieff Movement Analyst, I help you re-pattern movement habits to better take advantage of your space, dynamics, and muscular efficiency.

Myofascial Education and Training

"internally exfoliating" and changing the body from the inside out. Working with the fascia and connective tissue of the body reduces restriction, allowing for more freedom of movement in the body.

Ayurvedic Guidance

With roots in Indian holistics, Ayurveda focuses on bringing into alignment the three basic life forces (or "doshas") of the human body by modifying lifestyle practices, daily routines, and nutrition.

Neuro-auto Associative Programming (NAAP)

Unlock your mind's potential with this cutting-edge technique. As a certified F.L.Y. facilitator, I support you in rewiring your brain using the NAAP model, creating lasting change.

Authentic Movement

Connect with your inner self through mindful, spontaneous movement. Explore your emotions, express your true self, and cultivate self-awareness in a safe and supportive environment.

Embodiment in Education

Rather than simply walk you through rehabilitative exercises, my goal is to educate you about your body, through both intuition and analysis, so you can autonomously improve your wellness.

Start the process of healing today

Together, we will come up with a program tailored to your needs, using a variety of disciplines designed to improve wellness in body, mind, and spirit.

I value keeping balance between my family, self-care and teaching, so I only take a few clients at a time.

What to expect from a series of one-on-one movement sessions:

  • an assessment and clarity session to discuss client's specific background and issues wanting to address
  • body awareness inquiries to establish a baseline beginning foundation for the work
  • exploration of movement patterns for tension release and mobility
  • in some cases, touch for repatterning to help client connect on a deeper level in their bodies
  • education on self-care for clients to establish a daily routine and build on the things learned in a session
  • reflection and integration of what was learned in the session and the benefits of somatic movement they can continue in daily life
  • intention setting for progression on client's journey with somatic movement and neuro-wellness

I can also be booked to teach classes, give presentations, or lead workshops for events, schools, etc.
